救世闡提

(救世闡提, 救世阐提)

The world-saving (sa) icchanti, q. v., the bodhisattva who defers entry into Buddhahood to fulfil his vow of saving all beings.

闡提是無善根不能成佛的人， 而救世闡提卻是指慈悲無限， 專做濟度眾生的大事業與不為自身成佛著想的大菩薩， 這種人菩薩又名大悲闡提。
